Leadership Tompkins engages a diverse
group of aspiring and existing community
leaders in building networks, developing
leadership skills, and raising awareness of
local issues. In 2025, 22 people across a
wide range of Tompkins County industry
sectors completed the program, supported
by scholarship funds that made it possible for
people from small nonprofits, entrepreneurs
and underserved populations to take part.
The group worked with Mutual Aid Tompkins
on a public service project that included a
food drive and stocking the organization's
blue cabinets across the county.
