Fun Facts
Trail Info
Though pedestrians can see Foaming
Falls from the suspension bridge 140ft
up, the view is vastly superior from creek
level. Sheer cliffs across the gorge and
downstream contain layers of llenroc,
a local bluestone used in many campus
buildings. Spell it backwards to get the joke.
Find the trailhead on the south end
of the suspension bridge, across from
the Johnson Art Museum. Turn right
on the orange-blazed Cayuga Trail to
find the path down to the falls. 0.2mi.
Steep steps. Moderate
Open year round, no winter maintenance.
