Accessibility
note: The Overlook is a short distance
from paved parking lot. The lower Gorge Trail is ¾ mile
mostly flat with a mix surface composed of packed dirt
and gravel.

The tallest single-drop waterfall
east of the Rocky Mountains!
At 215 feet, this cascade is three
stories taller than Niagara Falls.
Take Rt 89 north from Ithaca 8 miles to Taughannock
Falls State Park. The gorge and hiking trails are on
your le . For easier access, cross the bridge and turn
le on Taughannock Park Rd and follow the signs to
the overlook above the falls. Visitor Center located at
the Overlook and open seasonally.
