Like so many of our members, we strive for continuous improvement: capturing new opportunities for growth, and leveraging our resources to yield the greatest economic impact and community benefit. Our talented team focused on creating operational efficiencies and using new technologies to simplify our work, enhance communications, and better serve our stakeholders. We have planned some updates to our facility to better use our space – you'll see these plans implemented in early 2018. On the advocacy front, the Chamber and our Foundation invested significant time and resources in advancing projects to support your needs in areas such as housing and workforce development. We've once again been inspired by the creativity, vitality, and diversity of our membership and this community. Your participation in events and programs, important discussions, and strategy sessions have grounded us and helped us grow. For all you do to support us throughout the year, we thank you! I'd like to extend a special thank you to Jerry Dietz—our outgoing Chair. I've truly appreciated working with Jerry for over two years, and while we'll miss his leadership (and early morning treats), I know that he's passing the gavel to an equally strong leader, Paul Brenner. We hope that a perusal of the following pages will inspire you and that you'll note not just the accomplishments and collaborations of the Chamber and CVB, but appreciate the member stories and successes we've shared over the last year. As for 2018 – It's going to be great! From the President's Desk Jennifer Tavares, CEcD
