CASCADILLA FALLS Cornell Natural Areas 20ft cascade, gorge trail connects Cornell to downtown Fun Facts Trail Info Picturesque Cascadilla Falls (located near the upper trailhead) is just one highlight of the Cascadilla Creek Trail. The path meanders down the gorge from College Ave. at the Cornell Campus to Court St., downtown. Along the way, the creek drops 400ft past nine waterfalls. Cascadilla Gorge Trail: 0.5mi. Many stairs. Moderate / Strenuous NOTE: Trails are closed in 2010 due to structural damage. Call 607.272.1313 for current conditions. Open April-Oct., but trails closed in 2010 for repair. 13 DIRECTIONS FROM ITHACA Find the upper trailhead near the College Ave. bridge, adjacent Cornell's Schwartz Center for Theatre Arts. The lower trail head is downtown at Cascadilla Park, near the intersection of Court St. and University Ave. Swimming prohibited. Dogs allowed on leash. No fee.
