A natural pool at the base of Buttermilk Falls provides swimming with the feel of an old swimming hole. Upstream, a scenic trail circles Lake Treman. (RT.89), TRUMANSBURG WWW.NYSPARKS.STATE.NY.US/PARKS/62/ DETAILS.ASPX Taughannock Falls, from which this park takes its name, is one of the outstanding natural attractions of the Northeast. Exciting to view in any season, this 215 foot waterfall plunges through a rock amphitheater whose walls reach nearly 400 feet. Ice skating, sledding slope, limited cross-country skiing, summer recreation program available. Summer Concert Series in the park July & August. The park features 4 trails that wander along and around Taughannock Creek. -------Taughannock Falls State Park (607) 273-3440 105 ENFIELD FALLS RD. RT 327 (OFF RT.13 S.), ITHACA WWW.NYSPARKS.STATE.NY.US/ PARKS/135/DETAILS.ASPX Enfield Glen is the scenic highlight of this park. This is an area of rustic beauty with craggy gorges and winding trails bearing‚ "fire and brimstone‚" names like Lucifer Falls and Devil's Kitchen. Come explore our Historic Gristmill with interpretive signs. The park features 6 trails with spectacular rocky gorges and wooded sections. A 3 mile section of the Finger Lakes Trail goes through the park. Robert H. Treman State Park With four state parks and almost 30,000 acres of public forest land, the Ithaca area is a natural for hiking, mountain biking and outdoor enjoyment. STATE PARKS AND TRAILS
