This year we're turning 40. No, we're not having
a midlife crisis, buying a Harley and taking up
skydiving. We're happy right here in Downtown
Ithaca, at our original Dewitt Mall location,
creating delicious, innovative menus and writing
cookbooks with a healthy focus. We've featured
farm-to-table, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and
fresh fish since we began, so folks describe us as
true pioneers. The secret? We cook food we love
to eat, and the restaurant wins awards because it
offers comfort and freshness. The kind of fresh
where our menu changes at every meal based
on the season.
Our newest cookbook, "Moosewood Restaurant Favorites" showcases 250 of our best-loved
