AT BUTTERMILK FALLS STATE PARK
A series of plunging pools and
cascades that converge into a
beautiful, swimmable basin.
Follow Rt. 13 south from downtown Ithaca to the
well-marked park entrance. For the upper gorge,
take the next le on Sand Bank Rd, go 2.5 miles
and turn le on W King Rd. The upper entrance is
1.3 miles on your right.
Swimming permi ed in the lifeguarded area. Dogs
ok on leash. $8/car parking fee. Transferable,
valid all day at all NYS Parks. For trail informa on,

Accessibility note: View of the lower main falls is
available from the turnaround area and a short
distance from the parking area on paved surface.
